A friend at work said they were getting their dad a goat for Christmas. It was mostly because he'd said he didn't want a present this year and there were people in greater need. So she donated a goat on his behalf through UNICEF. That'll learn him!
I woke up yesterday morning thinking about the goat, starving children and the commercialisation of Christmas. So I decided I too was going to donate a goat. After all Christmas is a Christian holiday and if we're going to celebrate it then we should at least try to get in to the spirit. I've addressed my gift card to "The Boddingtons" and I'll give it to my parents on Christmas day. Last update : 20-12-2006 13:14
